Giti Tire’s GitiSynergyH2, fitted to a VW ID.Buzz, ensured Rainer Zietlow safely navigated 99,800km and by visiting 92 countries in a row set a new world record for a continuous global tour using a battery powered electric vehicle. The mammoth journey started in Hannover, Germany on July 1, 2025 with Giti focusing on safety and reliability, all while assisting Rainer by connecting him to its global support network. The tour ended at the IAA Transportation in Hannover on September 14, 2026 when Rainer was presented with a certificate officially recognizing the new EV world record.

The upgraded camera system on the iPhone 18 Pro introduces four selectable aperture options to optimize lighting and depth of field. The main camera supports apertures of f/1.48, f/1.8, f/2.8, and f/4.0. Additionally, it includes 48-megapixel Ultra Wide and Telephoto lenses. New Pro controls enable users to manually adjust aperture, shutter speed, and white balance within the Camera app. When composing photos or videos, users can also access a histogram for better visual feedback. Apple has rolled out Reference Image, a voluntary feature designed to authenticate photographs. This system captures signed sensor data when a photo is taken in Reference mode, creating a reference image that users can compare against an edited version in the Photos app. Support for image metadata and the SynthID standard is also in development, with SynthID support expected to arrive via a software update later in 2026.
