The number of foreign visitors arriving in South Korea in July 2026 surpassed 2 million, maintaining a trend of travel figures remaining above pre-pandemic levels. According to the Korea Tourism Organization, the country hosted 2,093,223 international tourists during that month. This represents a 20.8% increase from the 1,733,199 visitors recorded in July 2025 and amounts to 144.6% of the July 2019 figure, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic disrupting global travel.
